System is going down, button ring stays on, battery-monitoring remains
active

System shuts down, monitoring is also switched off.

If the device is not used for a long time, the battery-toggle switch should be
set to OFF. Just so no standby power flows and the remaining battery
energy remains stored.

2.Mains power mode

The AT IV-LA can work like a normal laboratory equipment (even in
continuous working).

Battery-toggle switch to OFF
-
Connect power plug to the 230V mains supply

Press the START button for about 2 seconds

button lighting shows GREEN
to measure the battery capacity isn't possible in this mode

battery-Toggle Switch OFF – display is showing 0%

to switch off press the START button for about 10 seconds, the system
shuts down

3.Mains power mode with battery charge

If during normal mains power mode the battery toggle switch is turned ON, the
charging circuit is activated. The illuminated ring shows the current battery voltage.
Charging time: about 4 to 6 hours.
The integrated charging circuit works always at plugged the mains when the battery-
toggle switch is set to ON, even if the application is closed and Windows is shut
down.
If the ATIV-LA several days powered at 230V mains battery-toggle switch should be
set to OFF.
