Other   B uttons   a nd   f unctions:  
There's   a   d igital   z oom   b utton   o n   t he   u pper   r ightmost   b ack   s ide   o f   t he   c amera.  
You   d on't   r eally   w ant   t o   u se   t his.     I t   w ill   a ffect   t he   q uality   o f   y our   i mage,   m aybe  
a   l ittle,   m aybe   a   l ot.   L eave   t he   d igital   z oom   o ff.  
 
The   " *"   b utton   n ext   t o   t he   d igital   z oom   b utton   i s   a n   e xposure   l ock   f unction,   b ut   i t   d oesn't   h ave  
much   f unction   w hen   t he   e xposure   i s   s et   t o   m anual.  
 
The   D ISP   ( Display)   b utton   t oggles   t hrough   t hree   s ettings:    
• No   d isplay   o f   t ech   i nfo   i n   t he   L CD   d isplay  
• Full   D isplay:   T ech   i nfo   i s   s hown   a long   t he   l eft   s ide   o f   t he   d isplay,   a long   w ith   t he   L ower  
display  
• Lower   D isplay:   J ust   s hutter   s peed,   a perture,   I SO   a nd   b attery   l evel   a re   s hown   i n   l ower  
part   o f   s creen.  
 
Overheating   s ensor:   t here's   a   R ed   O verheat   s ensor   t hat   c an   a ppear   i n   t he   L CD   d isplay   w hen  
you've   h ad   t he   c amera   o n   f or   t oo   l ong.   T his   i s   a   s mall   c amera,   d oing   a   l ot   o f   w ork.   M ake   s ure  
and   t urn   i t   o ff   w henever   y ou're   n ot   u sing   i t,   s o   i t   h as   a   c hance   t o   s tay   c ool.   T he   c amera   s hould  
remember   y our   s ettings   a fter   b eing   t urned   o ff   a nd   b ack   o n.  
 
Recording   V ideo:  
To   R ecord,   p ress   t he   " Camera"   b utton   t o   t he   r ight   o f   t he   v iewfinder   ( upper  
right   o f   t he   d isplay).   T he   l ower   l eft   o f   t he   d isplay   w ill   s ay   " BUSY"   u ntil   t he  
camera   i s   a ctually   r ecording.  
 
Press   t he   " Camera'   b utton   a gain   t o   s top   r ecording.    
 
Playing   B ack   V ideo:  
To   P layback   w hat   y ou   j ust   r ecorded   o n   t he   L CD,   p ress   t he   " Play"   b utton   a t  
the   b ottom   o f   t he   b ack   o f   t he   c amera   ( to   t he   l ower   r ight   o f   t he   d isplay).  
This   w ill   s how   y ou   a   s till   o f   t he   l ast   v ideo   y ou   r ecorded.   P ress   " Set"   t o   g et  
a   p layback   m enu,   a nd   s elect   P lay   t o   p lay.   P ress   " Set"   a gain   t o   p ause.    
 
To   s elect   a   d ifferent   v ideo,   f rom   t he   p ause   m enu   s elect   t he   " exit"   i con.   T hen   u se   t he   e xposure  
dial   t o   m ove   t hrough   y our   d ifferent   v ideo   c lips.   P ress   " Set"   t o   s elect   t he   c lip   f or   p layback.  
 
Press   t he   P lay   b utton   a gain   t o   l eave   P layback   m ode   a nd   g o   b ack   t o   n ormal   r ecording   m ode.
