STEP 1
Install the deck buttons and eye straps on top of the gunwale. Starting at the center of aft cleat, measure forward 44 1/2" for the main frame
button location. Then measure 36 1/2" back for the hold down arm button location. Measure 40" foward for the eye strap.
STEP 2
Center buttons at each mark - use center punch to mark.
STEP 3
Use a 1/4" drill to install the main frame deck button and the hold down arm button (Detail A). Use a 5/32" drill for the eye strap. Do not ever
size the holes for the eye strap.
STEP 4
Install the frame on the buttons. Two people may be required to prevent damage to the boat.
STEP 5
Attach the web straps to the front of the frame per Figure 2 and secure to the straps to the eye straps installed on the gunwale.
NOTE:
Extra care should be taken when drilling into the fiberglass gunwale. After the holes are drilled, take a phillips head screwdriver and lightly chamfer the
outer edge of the hole. Failure to chamfer the holes will result in cracking and chipping of the fiberglass finish.

STOWING THE TOP
This frame can only be stored in an aft radar arch position. It is not recommended to store the frame and top in a fully down position.
CAUTION:
Do not stow top while wet.
