A) CR-Scan without erasure unit

Switch off all power before opening the
appliance. Verify the disconnection and
assure it.
• Remove the hexagonal socket screws (right,
left and on side) and remove the cover of the
transport arc.
• Mark the position of the connector with a colo-
red pencil, before removing.
• Remove the connector to the PCB located in
the transport arc cover.

• Remove the tube by slightly moving it.

• Loosen the set screws on the light protection
brush. Do not unscrew them completely!
B) WITH erasure unit
Any repairs to the scanner, above and
beyond normal maintenance, may only
be carried out by Dürr NDT trained and
accredited personnel or our service staff.

• Unscrew the hexagonal socket screw of the
cover.
• Remove the cover.

• Unscrew the hexagonal socket screw of the
cover.
• Remove the tube by slightly moving it.

• Remove the light protection brush.
• Insert new light protection brushes.
• Push in the light protection brushes with a flat
screwdriver and tighten the set screws.
Required tools:
Allen key A/F 4
Allen key A/F 3
Allen key A/F 1,5
Screwdriver 4,5 x 90

• Loosen the screws using a allen key and uns-
crew them.
• Remove the sheet.

• Remove the hexagonal socket screws (right
and left) of transport arc.
• Remove the transport arc by pulling gently.

• Insert a firm foil (e.g. x-ray film) on both sides
into the gap between the light protection brush
and the housing.
