When you selected pre-attached Rack Conversion kit, install a rack by referring to

To settle this server, certain space is required as shown

Connect peripheral devices, such as a keyboard and mouse, to the server in the following order.

The power supply of this server is 100-240 VAC. Use a power cable that meets your country's standard.

For details, refer to the "User's Guide Appendix B.6 Power Cord Selection".

n Restriction of installation locations

To settle this server, avoid the following areas:

- Humid, dusty, or oily areas

- Poorly ventilated areas

- Areas close to fire or other sources of heat

- Areas close to water

- Areas close to direct sunlight or near heating appliances

- Area with a temperature of below 10℃ or above 35℃

- Areas with humidity of less than 20% or more than 80%

- Salty areas

- Areas where corrosive gas is generated

- Areas where cables become trip hazards

- Areas where strong magnetic fields are generated,

such as near TVs and speakers

- Areas where the device is not stable and could tip over

and hurt somebody

- In dusty areas, dust will stick to the front and backside of

the server for a short period of time. Since it causes fail-

ure, changing the installation place is recommended.

- This server may generate 39dB of noise as actual mea-

surement value when a Power Supply Conversion kit is

not installed. It may exceed 40dB when the conversion

kit is in use. It is recommended to place the server in a

dedicated room. When placing the server in an office,

take care of the environment against noise.
