engineering controls and practices must be in place in order to use the Lumin LM3000.

The healthcare worker will wear one respirator each day and store it in a breathable paper bag at the
end of each shift. The respirator must not be used for at least 5 days.
•
To minimize potential cross-contamination, store respirators so that they do not touch each other and
the person using the respirator is clearly identified. Storage containers must be disposed of or cleaned
regularly.
•
Extend the use of N95 respirators by wearing the same N95 respirator for repeated close contact
encounters with several different patients, without removing the respirator per CDC's
recommendations on implementation of extended use.
