Objective/Aperture Iris Switching
Functions
1. Rotates the objective in the specified revolving nosepiece position in the optical axis and also sets the aperture iris
diaphragm to the specified position.
2. When this command is sent during brightfield observation, the aperture iris diaphragm is set to the position specified with
the AS PRESET switch.
3. When this command is sent during darkfield observation, the aperture iris diaphragm is set to the open position.
4. When this command is sent during darkfield observation for which the glare prevention is set, the aperture iris diaphragm,
is closed, the revolving nosepiece is rotated and, after completing the rotation, the aperture iris diaphragm is opened.
Special notes
1. When this command is sent during brightfield observation, the revolving nosepiece and aperture iris diaphragm are
operated simultaneously, and the response is returned when both operations have completed.
2. If the request command for a 6-position is issued while a 5-position revolving nosepiece is used, an illegal parameter
error will occur.
3. Even when multiple errors occur, the error code for only one error is returned.
