2 HOW   T O   U SE   T HE   G UARANTEE  
 
2.1
CONDITIONS  
 
2.1.1 The   g uarantee   i s   i ssued   b y   t he   m anufacturer,   n ot   b y   C ustom   S pa   C over.  
2.1.2 Custom   Spa   Cover   a cts   as   an   intermediary   b etween   the   customer   and   t he  
manufacturer.  
2.1.3 The  standard  guarantee  applies  only  to  products  that  are  defective  or  damaged  by  the  
manufacturer   o r   d amaged   i n   t ransport   ( by   t he   d elivery   c ompany).     P hotographs   s howing  
the   damaged   or   defective   area   should   be   sent   by   e-­‐mail   at   this   address:  
[email protected].     C ustom   S pa   C over   r eserves   t he   r ight   t o   r efuse   g uarantee  
claims   if   these   documents   are   not   submitted,   are   incomplete,   or   are   not   sufficiently  
precise.     T he   g uarantee   i s   n ot   a pplicable   i f   t he   p roduct   w as   m odified   o r   a ltered   b etween  
the   d ate   o f   d elivery   a nd   t he   d ate   o f   t he   g uarantee   c laim.  
2.1.4 The  guarantee  covers  neither  the  cost  of  shipping  nor  the  risks  associated  with  drop  
off   a nd   p ick   u p   o f   t he   c over,   F oam   o r   v inyl.  
2.1.5 The   s pa   c over   m ust   h ave   b een   p aid   i n   f ull.  
2.1.6 Handling   f ees   m ay   b e   a pplicable   t o   g uarantee   c laims.  
2.1.7 The  client  must  arrange  pick  up  of  the  cover,  Foam  or  vinyl  with  the  delivery  company,  
and   c over   t he   f ees   i f   n ecessary.  
2.1.8 The   c lient   i s   r esponsible   f or   c leaning   a nd   p acking   t he   c over,   F oam   o r   v inyl   p rior   p ick   u p.  
2.1.9 The  spa  cover  must  be  picked  up  from  the  same  address  it  was  delivered  to  (as  printed  
on   t he   o rder   f orm).     I f   n ot,   C ustom   S pa   C over   r eserves   t he   r ight   t o   r efuse   t he   g uarantee  
claim.  
2.1.10 Custom   Spa   Cover   promises   to   replace   or   repair   the   cover   if   after   the   manufacturer's  
inspection   i t   i s   s hown   t o   b e   u nder   g uarantee.  
2.1.11 The  repaired  or  the  replacement  cover  will  be  delivered  to  the  purchaser  within  ninety  
(90)   days   from   receipt   of   defective   spa   cover.     If   it   is   o nly   t he   f oams   o r   vinyl,   t he  
customer  agrees  to   r emove   i t/them   a nd  to  place  it/them  in  a  box.     A  Custom  Spa  Cover  
representative   w ill   e mail   y ou   t he   n ext   s teps   a nd   t he   d ocuments   n eeded   f or   s hipping.  
 
2.2
EXCLUSIONS   A ND   R ESTRICTIONS  
 
2.2.1 STANDARD   G UARANTEE  
 
Custom   S pa   C over's   g uarantee   d oes   n ot   c over   t he   f ollowing   s ituations:  
2.2.1.1 If   t he   c over   w as   f abricated   t o   t he   s pecifications   o f   t he   c lient,   a nd   t hat   o rder   w as   f illed  
as   per   those   specifications,   no   exchange   or   claim   can   be   made,   except   if   the   cover  
was   damage   in   the   shipping   process.   In   the   event   t hat   the   c over   i s   manufactured  
to   c ustomer's  specifications   a nd   t hat  it   d oes  not   f it  or  if  the   c ustomer  fails  to   p rovide
