Lamp Modes are as follows:
In all cases the lamp mode will only come on
when the ambient light level is low.
1. Smart
This is the default mode for all cameras unless
changed by the user. The lamp will come on
automatically under the following circumstances:
a. The camera is in alarm mode.
b. A user is currently viewing live video
from the camera

The lamp will come on in response to the PIR
motion sensor being activated. The lamp will
remain on for 30 seconds after the last
movement was detected.
This mode is independent of the camera's
alarm mode.
