Before proceeding be sure that:
•
You have been contacted by 3 Rivers Communications by a telephone call or postcard stating that your
High Speed Internet has been provisioned.
•
Your DSL filters have been properly installed
If you have an existing DSL modem/router connected to your phone line and computer, remove it, and follow the
installation instructions below:
1. Plug the small round end of the power supply into the Power jack in the back of the router.
2. Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet.
3. Always use the power adapter that comes with the modem.
4. Connect one end of the phone cord to the DSL jack in the back of the modem.
5. Connect the other end of the phone cord directly into a phone jack or the DSL side of the splitter
filter. Make sure you do not connect the modem to Phone side of the filter.
6. Push the power switch on the back of the modem to the "on" position.
7. Wait for the Power, DSL lights to turn steady green. This may take a 3 to 5 minutes.
8. Now you are ready to connect your GigaCenter to your DSL modem.
