Installing the Camera Head

}This section describes the procedure using the combination of the

U-TV1X-2 TV adapter + U-CMAD3 C-mount camera adapter.

1. Screw in the U-CMAD3 C-mount camera adapter @ into the C-mount

thread on the bottom of the camera head ².

# The shutter ³ is a precision component that should never be touched

by the user.

Then, loosen the clamping screw | at the bottom of the U-TV1X-2 TV

adapter, screw in the U-TV1X-2 into the C-mount camera adapter and

tighten the clamping screw.

· As the photographical field is as shown below, use a TV adapter having

magnification of 0.5X to 1X (if a TV adapter with a magnification below

0.5X is used, the peripheral part of the photographed image will be

obscured.)

# If the orientation of image observed through eyepieces differ from

that of image displayed on the monitor, align them by rotating the

camera mounting orientation with respect to the microscope or

performing image rotation using the camera application software.

· If a commercially available C-mount camera adapter is used, the optical

performance of the system may not be manifested fully.

Be careful in a commercially available C-mount camera adapter or

C-mount lens

Otherwise, the threaded section will hit the inside of the camera

head and cause damage to it.
