Connection procedure
ABB recommends that you use a PROFIBUS-
approved D-SUB 9 connector. These
connectors have a built-in termination
network and inductors for station
capacitance compensation.
Connect the cable to the D-SUB connector as
shown in the figure.
Start-up
To control the drive with the adapter module, set at least the basic parameters listed in the table
below. For full parameter descriptions, refer to the adapter module's user manual or to the drive's
firmware manual.
