Cleaning and Maintenance

Unit Motor is hermetically sealed with a super quality resin and does not require

any extra care. The only serviceable part is the impeller. The impeller assembly

rest in an easy to open cover that needs to be spot checked for dirt, grime and

mineral build up. Should you discover any worn or damaged areas replace

impeller immediately to restore pump to its full capacity. Pumps ran in salt water

should also be flushed with freshwater after use and before maintenance. It is

recommended that these inspection take place ever 2-3 months depending on

water conditions.

SYMPTOM

The pump doesn't run

The motor repeats on

and off immediately

without pump running.

The motor suddenly

stops and cannot be

started again.

The pump runs normally

at the beginning but the

water flows out slowly

or there is no water.

Troubleshooting

CAUSE

Power is not turned on

RESOLUTION

Turn on power

Plug in sufficiently

Remove foreign matters from impeller

Apply to correct voltage

Remove foreign matters from pipes

Replace it with a new one

Put pump into water

Shorten the hose or clean up inside

In order to get rid of air, put the pump

into the water. Turn the switch to "ON"

then "OFF" intermittently 2 or 3 times.
