Troubleshooting

When the BlackBerry Calendar Synchronization Tool finds differences between the calendar
entries on a user's computer and the calendar entries on a user's BlackBerry device, the tool
writes information to the BlackBerry Messaging Agent log file. You can use this information to
troubleshoot calendar synchronization issues.

Known limitations

In certain circumstances, the BlackBerry Calendar Synchronization Tool might not be able to
correct calendar synchronization errors. For example, if a recurring meeting appears in the
calendar on a user's BlackBerry device but not in the calendar on the user's computer, the tool
might not delete the recurring meeting from the user's BlackBerry device. Research In Motion is
currently investigating other circumstances.
