2-2 Hellcat Requirements
The Hellcat ships from the factory without batteries. The Hellcat requires 4 'AA' batteries (not included). We
recommend the use of lithium, rechargeable NiMH, or high-quality alkaline batteries for the best
performance. If you plan to operate the Hellcat in freezing conditions (under 32°F/0°C), we suggest lithium
batteries for maximum run times. Alkaline batteries do not last as long in colder temperatures.
Installing Batteries in the Hellcat
1.
Open the battery compartment on the side of the Hellcat by unscrewing the knurled
thumbscrew.
2.
Locate and remove the plastic battery holder from the battery compartment. The battery holder
attaches to a red and black power wire.
3.
Place the 'AA' batteries into each battery cavity of the battery holder while observing correct
polarity as indicated on the battery tray.
4.
Make sure the power wire is connected to the battery holder.
