Keep the CP-1000 in an upright position at all times.

Reference the parts list and diagram during installation.

Complete the outlet connections as shown in the assembly diagram, connecting the

CP-1000 to your downstream plumbing or water treatment equipment. When com-

plete, slowly turn the water supply back on. (If there are any leaks, shut off the water

supply and retighten the connections.)

Turn on a nearby faucet. Flush the unit for an additional 10 to 15 minutes to condi-

tion your unit.

Your CP-1000 water filtration system is now ready for use. Enjoy!

Replace the 1-micron pre-filter if there is a noticeable reduction of flow through the

filter system or if the pre-filter cartridge becomes heavily discolored. This is usually

every 3 to 5 months depending the water quality entering the system. The recom-

meded replacement interval is every 4 months. You may order replacement 1-micron

pre-filters (Item #1MRC1045) from www.CP1000PureWaterFilter.com.

Shut off the water supply and place a bucket under your pre-filter.

Relieve water pressure by gently pressing the pressure relief button on the pre-

filter housing.

Using the provided pre-filter wrench, unscrew the pre-filter housing by rotating

the sump to the left.

Remove and discard the used cartridge, rinse the sump, and place a new

cartridge into the sump.

Clean the housing O-ring and relubricate it with petroleum jelly or silicone grease.

Seat the O-ring into the proper groove and reattach the sump. Do not over

tighten.

Slowly turn the water supply back on while checking for leaks.
