Problem

Drying cycle ends

shortly after pro-

gramme starts. END

(ENDE) display illumi-

nated.

Drying cycle lasts an

unusually long time.

Note:

After around 5 hours

the drying cycle ends

automatically (see

„Drying cycle com-

plete").

Changing bulb for inside light

Only use a special bulb which is designed specially for dryers. The spe-

cial bulb is available from the after-sales service,

ET-Nr. 112 552 000-5.

Important: When the appliance is switched on, the interior lighting

switches itself off after 5 minutes when the door is open.

Warning! Do not use standard bulbs! These develop too much heat and

may damage the machine!

Warning! Before replacing the bulb, disconnect the mains plug; with a

permanent connection: fully unscrew or deactivate the fuse.

1. Unscrew covering bonnet from above bulb (this can be found directly

behind the loading aperture, at the top; refer to "Description of ma-

chine" section.)

2. Replace defective bulb.

3. Screw covering bonnet back down.

Warning! For reasons associated with safety, the covering bonnet must

be screwed down tightly. If this is not done, the dryer must not be op-

erated.

Possible cause

Not enough washing load-

ed or washing loaded is too

dry for selected programme.

Lint filter clogged.

Fluff filter blocked with

fluff.

Load volume too big.

Laundry insufficiently pre-

drained.

Particularly high room

temperature. Temporary

switching off of the

compressor to avoid

overload.

Remedy

Select time programme or

higher drying level (e.g. INTEN-

SIVE DRY [STARKTROCKEN] in-

stead of STORAGE DRY

[SCHRANKTROCKEN]).

Clean lint filter.

Clean the fluff filter.

Reduce load volume.

Laundry must be adequately

pre-drained.

Automatic process, there is no

fault with the appliance. If

possible, lower the room

temperature.
