Depress the control knob and turn clockwise to "OFF".

Igniting the Appliance.

Simultaneously press the "(Spark) OFF" and "▲ or big flame" buttons of the receiver for ignition.
(Fig-A).
An acoustic signal indicates that the start sequence has begun.
The electronic system then checks that the main gas is flowing and ignites the main burner; this
may take up to 20 seconds.
IMPORTANT: During the lighting procedure the main valve button
must be in the ON position. (Fig-B).
Remember if you are trying to light the fire with your remote control and there is no acoustic
signal or the pilot light does not ignites, change the batteries in the remote control and the
receiver. The receiver box is located in the lower part of the insert in a box, next to the speed
switch. In order to change the batteries of the receiver you will have to loose a screw. (Fig-C).

Adjusting the Heat Setting

You are now able to use the remote control. To increase the flame, the top button (▲ or big
flame ) should be depressed. Pressing the lower button (▼ or small flame) on the handset will
reduce the flame. It is also possible to turn the main burner all the way down so that it is
effectively off, leaving only the pilot ignited.
You can control the fan speed with help of the ventilator switch. (Fig-D).

Extinguishing the Appliance Fully

From any heat setting, press the "OFF" button for a few seconds. This will cause the burner to
fully extinguish
.
IMPORTANT:
After turning OFF, or if the pilot burner or main burner go out for any reason, wait 3
minutes before attempting to relight. There is a internal mechanism that will block it
during some minutes.
