Initialize the camera

Use the DIP switch to initialize the camera.
Important:
The settings including the network settings will be initialized. Note that the preset position settings will not be ini-
tialized.
Step 1
Detach the housing attachment base, and then flip the
protection sheet on the upper portion of the sun shield.
• Refer to the operating instructions of the housing
attachment base for how to detach the sun shield.

Step 2
Set DIP switch 1 to "ON".
• The default positions of each DIP switch are OFF.
Step 3
Attach the housing attachment base.
Step 4
Turn on the power of the camera. ( page 13)
• Look inside the camera from the dome cover side
and confirm that the power LED (green) and the SD
memory card error LED (red) are blinking. When
they are blinking, the initialization is completed.
* When looking inside the camera from the part indi-
cated by the arrow mark in the illustration, the LEDs
can be found as shown in the illustration "View from
below".

Step 5
Turn off the power of the camera, and then detach the
housing attachment base.
Step 6
Set DIP switch 1 to "OFF".
• Put the protection sheet back into place as it was
after setting DIP switch 1 to "OFF".
Important:
When DIP switch 1 is in the "ON" position, the cam-
era will not be operated in normal state. Make sure
that DIP switch 1 is in the "OFF" position.
Step 7
Attach the housing attachment base.
Step 8
Turn on the power of the camera. ( page 13)
• When the power of the camera is turned on, the
camera will be operated in normal state.
