1. Clogged filament on the extruder.
The most likely cause of this problem is that the model got loose
from the build tape and moved along with the extruder. This issue
can be resolved by cleaning the build tape with cleaning alcohol
before every build, followed by a correct levelling of the build plate.
2. Model is not sticking to the build plate.
The most common reasons for inadequate adhesion between the
printed model and the build plate are either incorrect levelling, or
contaminated build tape. Clean the build tape with a piece of cloth
and cleaning alcohol before every build and also make sure that
the levelling is correct.
See 3D20 Quick Start Guide or 3D20 Operating/Safety Instruc-
tions when using the black build tape provided with the 3D20. Use
the orange leveling sheet provide with 3D20 to set the gap and
level the build platform.
If using blue painters tape (not provided with the 3D20) on the
build platform, use a piece of standard paper (about 0.1mm thick)
to set the gap and level the build platform.
Do not use foreign materials (glues, sprays, etc.) to adhere prints
to the acrylic build platform. Instead, use the black build tape pro-
vided with the 3D20 or blue painters tape.
3. Remove backing paper from the black build tape before
applying it to the build platform.
When removing backing paper, ensure the adhesive sticks to the
black build tape.
4. It is recommended to use supports when printing objects
which have steep over-hangs of 45 degrees or more.
Any feature that hangs in the air and/or hovers over the build plat-
form, must be supported.
5. It is important to stay near your 3D20 during operation and
watch the 3D20 begin building objects.
If a situation occurs, select the STOP icon right away, to stop any
further building.
