The Rear Panel

This is where you plug in the included charger to recharge your DiamondBoxx.
ONLY THE INCLUDED CHARGER (16.8 VDC, 2 Amps) OR MAJOR DAMAGE CAN
OCCUR.
The FULL and 80Hz HP jack can be used to connect to additional DiamondBoxx
subwoofers or other DiamondBoxx products or any other speaker with an AUX IN
jack. We recommend if connecting a Model M, M3, 40W, 40TWS, or any other
small size Bluetooth speaker to the subwoofer to use the 80Hz HP OUTPUT jack.
This jack is useful to remove the bass from the speaker connected to it and let the
SUB8.2 handle the low notes. Most smaller speaker systems will be able to play
louder when they don't have to try to reproduce the low notes, leave those for the
SUB8.2
The rear panel INPUT 1 jack and INPUT 2 jack can be connected to just about
anything with an audio output. This would include:
Output from another DiamondBoxx
Laptops, Tablets and Phones
Computers, gaming consoles, and projectors
Audio Mixers
If the item you want to plug in doesn't have the right jack, your local electronics or
music store will have an adapter.
These two jacks are mixed together so multiple audio sources can be played at
once or mixed together, they can be used simultaneously.
These connections can also be used to link multiple DiamondBoxxes together. By
plugging a 3.5mm Stereo cable into the OUT jack of one DiamondBoxx and into the
IN jack of another DiamondBoxx you will have double the sound. The first
DiamondBoxx will control the volume for both DiamondBoxxes. You can continue
to daisy-chain them like this up to concert sound levels!
TIP: Turn power off to all DiamondBoxxes involved during this process. Then turn
on the "Main" DiamondBoxx before turning on the next one.
BLUETOOTH
TIP: If using Bluetooth, turn the "Main" DiamondBoxx on first,
connect your Bluetooth device, then continue to turn on any other
DiamondBoxxes. The cable required is a standard
(sometimes called TRS) available at guitar or musical instrument store, or from our
website or an electronics supply store, or Amazon.
