STEP 5: Setting the Correct Height for Measurement
Press and hold the power button on the OMNI

Click on the Settings icon on the main toolbar on the right-hand side of your

In System Settings, ensure the correct screen size and Lens Dioptre that you are
currently using are selected.

The user must set the Focal Plane of the lens first to suit the height of the
object.
To set the Focal Plane:
Place the unit in Overview Mode by clicking the overview icon.
a)
Move the object with the area of interest under the crosshair on screen.
b)
Exit Overview Mode by clicking the Overview icon again.
c)
Click the Zoom In
d)
Magnification.
e)
Manually adjust the height of the OMNI
down on the stand until the object is in focus.
Now you are ready to measure at your desired focal plane!

Note: Once you have achieved your Focal Plane DO NOT adjust the height of the object or the
height of the OMNI
