STEP 3 - Add Upper Legs to one Side.
• Lay out the parts as shown. Three (3) upper legs and two (2) purlins.
• The upper leg has angled cuts on one end and square cut on the other.
• The angled/labeled end goes toward the eave weldments.
• Lift the top frame using the eave purlins and insert the upper leg onto the eave weldments. Secure with pin.
• Connect the upper legs together with 2 purlins. This is easiest if the purlin is pinned to the mid leg first before the end
leg is moved into alignment and pinned.
• Pin the four eave covers (2 per end) on each end as shown above.
STEP 4 - Add Upper Legs
to the other Side.
See
Figure 3.
• Assemble as the previous step.
STEP 5 - Add Lower Legs to
Side.
• Lay out the parts. Three (3) lower
legs, three (3) base plates and two
(2) purlins. See Figure 5a.
• The lower leg has a splice inserted
in the square cut end. The splice
goes toward the upper leg.
• The base plates should be
secured in the legs with the appro-
priate hardware. Bolt and eyenuts
on the end legs, eyebolt and eyenut
for the mid leg. See Figure 5b.
See Figure 3.
