Intended use
This product is intended as a means of interior lighting and can be mounted to walls, ceilings
and on furniture. Power supply via a normal household power outlet.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

Explanations of symbols
The triangle containing a lightning symbol warns against danger of electric shock or
impairment of the electrical safety of the device.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in these operating
instructions that must be strictly observed.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operation.
Symbol for Protection Class II, reinforced or double insulation between the mains
and output voltage (protective insulation).
Symbol for Protection Class III, device operates with extra-low voltage.
Maintain sufficient safety clearance between the light emission apertures and
lit surfaces (especially highly flammable objects such as curtains). The required
0.1m
minimum safety clearance is noted on the light.
Installing this product on furniture whose properties (especially flammability) are
not known is permitted.
The product may not be embedded in insulating materials to prevent the risk of
overheating. This also poses a fire hazard!
The product is intended for use in dry interior spaces only, it may not become moist
or wet.
Follow all instructions in the operating instructions.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. This poses a
risk of fatal injury due to electric shock!
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Connect the LED transformer to a common household power outlet only.
• Operate the LED recessed lights with the included LED transformer only.
• Never connect the low-voltage outputs of two or more LED transformers. Doing so
will destroy all connected transformers and illuminants.
• For safety reasons, the use of metal constructions as current-carrying conductors
in buildings or furniture is not permitted.

• Never expand the product by adding additional illuminants. Use the included
components only.
• During installation and while cleaning, do not wear any jewelry made of metal or
conductive materials (i.e. necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.).
• The distance between the illuminant and lit surface must be at least 0.1m.
• Never cover the LED recessed lights and the LED transformer with heat-insulating
or similar materials.
• Do not hang any other objects on the product for decoration.
• Make sure the installation site is well ventilated.
• The product may be operated only when fixed in place.
• Should you notice any damage to the product while it is in use, do not touch the
product. This poses a risk of fatal injury due to electric shock!
- First disconnect the power outlet to which the product is connected from the
mains (i.e. flip off circuit breaker and/or remove fuse).
- Then turn off the residual current device to disconnect the power outlet at all
phases.
- Now you can unplug the light.
- Discontinue use of the product immediately and take it to a professional repair
shop or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly fashion.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention regulations
for electrical systems and equipment of the government safety organization or the
corresponding authority for your country.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it from
the mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an
extended period of time.
• For safety reasons, always unplug the device in case of a thunderstorm.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges
or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable
from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains
cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• To prevent risks, damaged power cables may only be replaced by the manufacturer,
a professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified
person.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.
