Preparing installation
Caution!
The LED transformer is outfitted with a fixed Euro power cable for easy connection
to the power supply.
Should you wish to remove the power cable in order to connect the LED transformer
directly to a screw terminal, please note that this procedure may be carried out by a
qualified electrician who is familiar with all applicable regulations only!
When handling mains voltage improperly, you will not only endanger yourself but
also others!
• Mount the product out of the reach of children.
• A stable surface is needed for installation.
• The product may not be operated until after installation.
• The product must be completely free of voltage for installation. Do not connect the LED
transformer to a power outlet until after the product is successfully installed and connected.
Installation and connection
In order to guarantee proper and safe installation, review all information in
the chapters "Explanations of symbols", "Safety instructions" and "Preparing
installation".
1. Choose an appropriate site for mounting. Make sure to observe the required minimum
safety clearance. When choosing an installation site, please also take into consideration
cable routing and the LED transformer.
2. Turn the decorative rings on the light housing counter clockwise and remove them.
3. Loosen the two screws that fasten the illuminant to the light housing and remove the
illuminants with their cables.
4. Use one of the three light housings as a template to mark the positions for drilling holes. You
will need one drilling hole per light housing.
5. Drill the holes in the mounting surface.
When drilling or tightening screws, make sure not to damage any cables, wires or
pipes located underneath the surface.
6. Insert wall anchors into the drilling holes and mount each light housing to a screw using
the metal tongue.
7. Fasten the illuminants in the light housings.
8. Replace the decorative rings and turn clockwise to fasten.
9. Connect the lights' reverse polarity protected plugs to the proper jacks on the cable harness.
The plugs should click into place. Do not use force.
10. You can secure the LED transformer in place using two screws (not included) if necessary.
11. Connect the LED transformer to a power outlet. The product is now operational.
Turning on/off
The on/off switch is located on the side of the light housing connected directly to the LED
transformer.
