PURITY C

1. The hose you need to flush the filter is located on the top of the filter.

It is grey in colour and about 10 cm long – see picture right.

2. The mechanism that controls the water being flushed is either a small round grey

button or a small grey slider and built into the top of the filter – see pictures below;

A. Sliding flush mechanism – Push the slider in the

direction of the arrow to start the flushing process,

to stop it flushing push it back in the other direction

3. To flush the filter you must have a bucket and enough space next to the BRITA PURITY C

filter to be able to locate the bucket, so that it can sit flat on the floor. If the filter is in

a cupboard you may need to lift the filter out of the cupboard in order to flush the filter

safely and so that the grey hose can reach the bucket. Be careful not to damage or

kink the water hoses when moving the filter from the cupboard.

4. The grey hose must be inside the bucket before you start the flushing procedure.

Also make sure that you are holding onto the flush hose before turning the water on,

as if the water pressure is too strong it may cause the hose to flip out of the bucket.

B. Push button flush mechanism – Push button down

and hold it to flush, when you release the button it will

stop flushing
