Putting the unit into service
Note:
▪
A cordless screwdriver with a battery voltage of at
least 18 V and a rated speed of 1800 rpm is needed
for putting the Hydraulic unit V4 into operation.
▪
Invariably, only one stripping cylinder can be oper-
ated with the Hydraulic unit V4.

Stand with both feet on the footplate.
CAUTION
Wrist injury
➤
After extending or retracting the stripping
cylinder, switch off the cordless screwdriver
and disengage it from the drive!
➤
Insert the cordless screwdriver with the bit (width-
across 8 mm) into the drive.

Original Operating Instructions Framax stripping corner I hydraulic
Stripping the formwork:
NOTICE
If there is not enough oil in the unit, attempting
to extend another stripping cylinder will result
in damage to the unit.
➤
Check the oil level in the oil reservoir!
Before a stripping cylinder is extended, the oil
level must be at least 25 mm above the 'MIN'
mark.
➤
Set the cordless screwdriver to clockwise rotation
and operate it.
Stripping cylinder extends.

When a stripping cylinder retracts, hydraulic oil
flows back into the oil reservoir.
Closing the formwork:
NOTICE
If there is too much oil in the oil reservoir,
hydraulic oil will overflow from the reservoir
when an attempt is made to retract another
stripping cylinder.

Check the oil level in the oil reservoir!
Before a stripping cylinder is retracted, the oil
level must be at least 25 mm below the 'MAX'
mark.
➤
Set the cordless screwdriver to counter-clockwise
rotation and operate it.
Stripping cylinder retracts.
