EPSON PowerLite 7850p Projector
If you're using a network management utility running SNMP,
you can configure your network to send trap alerts even without a
plug-n. See the User's Guide for more information.
Make sure you have installed the EMP Monitor software
(included on the projector's CD-ROM) on the computer you
want to use to monitor your projectors. (See the User's Guide
for instructions.)
Note: Your computer must be running Microsoft Windows XP,
2000, Me or 98.
Setting Up the Projector on a Wired Network
This section explains how to configure projectors on a wired
network. You can also configure projectors for wireless
communication. See "Configuring the Connection" on
page 12 for details.
1. Insert the PCMCIA LAN card into the card slot on the
back of the projector. Then connect the projector to your
network using a commercially available 100baseTX or
10baseT network cable.
2. Turn on the projector.

❏ To change the network addresses from the projector's
control panel, press the right and left arrow buttons to
select the part of the address you want to enter, then
use the up and down arrow buttons to increase or
decrease the numeric value.

Opening and Closing EMP Monitor
To start EMP Monitor, click

the lower-right corner of your screen to display the EMP
Monitor window:
