PREPARING CAMCORDER & HOUSING
INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
The GENESIS FS-700 housing is been equipped with a large amount of mounting points and an optional railing
system is available to accommodate a variety of accessories. Some of the mounting point locations have been
designated to specific positions for your convenience. However, these locations could and can be used for other
accessories. Theses mounting points will allow the addition of external monitor and video lighting to be attached
to the housing. Accessory passthrough connector ports (up to six ) are provided in both 1/2'' and 16mm size for
installing external monitor.
Achieving neutral buoyancy and balance
The Dome port and lens configuration, and adding accessories to the housing, may offset the trim of the housing
underwater. Whether in fresh or salt water, the GENESIS can be perfectly balanced and neutral in buoyancy by
adding and properly locating the optional trim weights on the side mounted rail (#20 & 21)

leakage in the housing. Never leap into the water while holding the housing. Always have the housing handed to
you or lowered down once you are in the water.
3. Point the lens of the housing upwards and shake off any residual air bubbles by fanning your hand in front of
the port. If necessary, gently wipe the lens with your finger to remove left over bubbles.
