Wrench Sizes: 15/16" and 3/4"

STEP 1

REMOVE CLOSING SYSTEM

Remove the hair clip and pin from row unit 1 and slide the

closing system 2 off.

If present, remove insecticide attachment.

Using an 3/4" socket remove the two bolts 3 that attach

the closing system plate 4 to the row unit. Bolts can be

discarded but the plate should be retained.

STEP 2

INSTALL BANDIT UNIT

Using the two short 1/2" bolts 5 attach the 360 BANDIT

unit (long leg to the rear) to the row unit where the closing

system plate was just removed.

Tighten with 3/4" socket. Torque bolts to 57 ft lbs. Ensure

not to over tighten bolts.

NOTE: The supplied 3/8" x 1" bolt installed in the BANDIT

pin up hole is to be used as a "zero" setting and as a stop in

case of spring disengagement.
