WARNING - Please stay alert and use your Custom-Touch™

heating pad carefully. For it to work properly, it must be capable

of becoming very hot. Do not sit or lay on your Custom-Touch™

heating pad. Do not use over areas of the body with poor circu-

lation or insensitive skin. Diabetics should be especially careful

when applying heat. Those who are incapacitated should be

closely supervised at all times during their use of the Custom-

Touch™ heating pad. Do not use a heating pad as a bed- or

foot-warmer. It gets too hot to be used for this purpose. Do not

use your Custom-Touch™ heating pad on animals or small chil-

dren. When in doubt about the advisability of using heat therapy

because of any situation or health condition, please consult your

personal physician.

SERVICE CHECKS

If you have any questions regarding the use of your Custom-

Touch™ heating pad, please contact our Customer Service depart-

ment at 800-253-0854 or go to BattleCreekEquipment.com.

If your Custom-Touch™ heating pad fails to heat, we suggest you

check the following:

1. Make sure the plug fits properly and firmly into the electric

outlet, and that the outlet is functioning properly. Try plugging the

unit into another outlet which is on a different circuit.

2. Inspect the cord. Make sure there is no break in the wire; the

areas of highest stress are normally next to the plug, switch, or

where the cord attaches into the Custom-Touch™ heating pad.

3. Check the heavy fabric cover of the heating unit. It may even-

tually become somewhat discolored near the wires, but excessive

scorching or isolated darker areas may be caused if the unit is

folded during use. If the heating unit is folded, creased or insu-

lated during use, there may be damage to internal components

and the unit should be replaced.

During the first year after purchase, we will replace this product

free of charge to the original owner if it has a manufacturing de-

fect or, if in use as directed by our labels and brochure, it does not

perform as stated.

Please be sure to save your sales receipt showing the date of pur-

chase. If no receipt is available, we will use the serial number
