Introduction

Andel Filtersepta 2 performs to the requirements of a Class 1 full retention oil/water

separator and relevant sections of EN858-1:2002 – less than 5ppm hydrocarbons in water

discharged, under test conditions. The Filtersepta 2 is designed to work in conjunction with

a BundGuard unit to remove any small traces of oil, which may be present in the discharge

from the BundGuard ("Yes to water! – No to oil!" pumping system, less than 5ppm under

test conditions).

The system is fitted with 2 sensors one for excess oil detection and one for high level

detection, in the event of either sensor been active the BundGuard unit will stop pumping

automatically, the system will also stop if the lid to the unit is opened.

If the attached BundGuard unit stops pumping for a period, due to activation on the

FilterSepta sensors the level in the pump's sump will build up and a high-level alarm will be

generated by the BundGuard control panel.
