CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

Verify that the power is on by checking that the front panel POWER ON light is lit.

Set SAP Channel Demod:

Move the shorting block on jumper JU1 from position 1-2 to position 3-4. This will

disconnect the audio signal coming out of the tuner module from the signal path, and

will let the SAP demod circuit free-run.

Connect a frequency counter to either side of C41. The frequency counter should

measure 78.6 kHz (±0.2 kHz). If necessary, adjust R51 (VCO ADJUST) until a

frequency of 78.6 kHz is measured. Restore JU1 to the 1-2 position to reconnect the

tuner module output.
