8. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
Assembly
CAUTION
Carry out all preparatory
operations with the device disconnected from
the power supply.
Out of the box, the device requires few assembly
steps.
• Use the adapter (no. 16) and suction hose (no. 15)
to connect the grinder outlet (no. 10) to the dust bag
(no. 14).
• Attachment of side handle.
Tighten the side handle (no. 17) into the body of the
grinder by turning clockwise. The side handle can be
mounted in two positions, on the left and right side of
the grinder.
• Mounting of abrasive paper.
When attaching the sandpaper to the sanding pad,
make sure the holes in the paper are aligned with the
holes in the pad to ensure effective dust extraction.
Press lightly on the sandpaper to secure it to the
sanding pad. The abrasive disc is fastened to the head
with Velcro. Once this has been done, the device is
ready for use.
Operation of the device
The best sanding results on dry gypsum surfaces are
achieved using 120-240 grit sandpaper.

9. OPERATION
• Before starting work, make sure the work surface is
free of obstructions such as nails or screws. If
necessary, remove them.
• Hold the grinder with one hand on the main handle
and the other hand on the surface of the side
handle.
• Switch on the device by pressing the switch on the
handle of the device (Fig. no. 8) and wait until the
grinder is running at full speed, then place it on the
work surface. After starting the device, in order to
avoid the necessity of holding the start trigger all
the time, the lock button (Fig. 9) should be pressed
to ensure that the operation is maintained, then the
start trigger button (Fig. 8) should be released.
• The device is equipped with a speed regulation
knob (Fig. 6), regulation from 1-5 (where 1 is the
lowest speed and 5 the highest). This allows you to
continuously adjust the speed from 1400 to 2700
rpm. This makes it possible to adapt the rotational
speed to the grade of abrasive paper being used.
When working, select the speed with the knob
according to the principle "the finer the paper, the
higher the speed".
• Replace sandpaper when worn. Start with finer grit
sandpaper and finish with a fine pour pattern. Any
replacement of sandpaper must be carried out with
the machine plug disconnected from the power
socket!
• The device has the possibility of illuminating the
work area. Use the on/off switch (Fig. 12) to turn the
LED lighting on/off.
