Introduction:

Just because you drive an older car does not mean you have to settle

for old technology. And

for those who are adamant about hanging on

to the original radio we offer a line of adapters sure to open up a

whole lot of different options for listening to music and other audio

content.

The A2DIY-CR12 Kit offers Bluetooth Hands-Free and

Streaming Audio from any Smartphone or Tablet with A2DP and

HF Profile, a 3.5mm input jack to connect and play non-Bluetooth

devices (e.g. Mp3 Players, Satellite Radio kit, iPods etc.) and optional

3Amp USB Charging port to keep devices fully charged. The

A2DIY-CR12 is exclusive to Porsche 911, 944, 964, 968, 993 and

others with a CR-1 or CR-2 Cassette Radio and replaces the CD

Changer (if

present).

Keep the radio and car you love while

enjoying Bluetooth features only available on newer cars.

Installation:

1. Remove radio from dash.

instructions are not part of this guide.

2. Locate 13-pin CD Changer port on Radio (See Fig. 1)

CD Changer (if present) must be disconnected and will no

longer function.

3. Connect 13-pin plug from adapter (See Fig. 2) to 13-pin

connector on radio (See Fig. 1)

4. Connect supplied 3.5mm plug (See Fig. 3) to "AUX" input

on Module (See Fig. 6). Run other end to dash or wherever

auxiliary device will reside (within 3 ft.)
