2. Pu l li n g op erat i on
Connect the tw o quick coupler s on the plat for m and tower (F igure7-3) ,
pos it ion the tow er collar to a suit able height (F igure 7- 4), select the right
pulling tool and anc hor it to the vehicle body, where needs pulling, then join
to the pulling chain, adjust the lengt h and dir ection of the chain to get ev ery
section int o a line, and as sure the ot her end of the chain is locked on the
tow er ram. St art the oil pum p, when the chain is get t ing tight ening, loosens
the tow er collar, and then cont inue to do pulling (F igure 7- 5).

3. Use of th e st eel wi re sl i n g
When using the pulling tools, you should pr event the pulling ring fr om
disengaging and bouncing wit h a st eel wire sling. Fast en one end of the sling
to the ring, and buc kle the ot her end to the vehicle or plat f orm.

working area, no baboosh or high-heel shoes.
