Ⅴ Vehicle anchoring
1.
Introduction of anchoring system
The vehicle anchor ing system of CRM PL 201 is a set of T- top clam ps, which
is univer sal am ong all LA U NC H body repair syst ems and suit able for mos t
of unibody vehicles with an edge at the bot t om. This kind of clamp feat ures
gr eat joggling pow er and str ong fast ness, which can support large pulling
pow er and as sures the safet y of pulling work. ( Figur e 6- 1)

2. Anchoring the vehicle on platform
Firs tly put the four clam ps ont o the plat f orm under the anc horing point s of
the vehicle, and adjust the clam ps to the level height . Raise the vehicle to
a cert ain height with a rolling scis sor jack or ot her lift ing tools. Release the
bolt s of the clamps, and posit ion them at the anc horing point s one by one,
and low er the vehicle to get the vehicle edge int o the clamp top, tighten the
bolt s of the clam ps. Finally anc hor the clam ps ont o the plat for m with the
special bolt s and anc horing panels. Clamp for CR MPL 201 (F igure 6- 2)

Operation of the pulling tower
1. Movement and anchoring of the pulling tower
Loosen the tow er bolt s and pull out the tow er pins, move the pulling tow er
ar ound the plat for m slowly (F igur e 7- 1). W hen the pulling tower is at it s
right posit ion, anc hor it with the tower bolt solidly and inser t the tow er pin
(F igure 7- 2).
