Replacing the system fans

Ê Fold up the air duct.

Ê Pull off the four buttons from the air inlet.

Ê Push the fan at the upper side backwards and pull it upward.

Ê Insert the new system fan. Push the fan down, until it engages completely.

Make sure that the cable has been routed in the right way (cable outlet

facing the connector on the system board).

Ê Plug the system fan cable on the adapter connector.

Ê Push the four buttons into the air inlet.

Ê Close the air duct back to its original position until the locks are engaged into

the air inlet.

Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see

the Options Guide).
