not be running. Switch the Milk/Wash switch to the Wash
position and raise the low float. The motor should run up
to 60 Hz in just a few seconds. Lower the float switch and
the motor should stop turning in just a few seconds.
9. Adjust the parameters as required. All parameter defaults
are set for a 1 Hp motor. If a 2 Hp or 3 Hp motor is used,
some parameters must be changed. A listing of installation
specific parameters is given in Table 4. A complete
parameter list is given in Table A1-1.
10. If the individual components of the system seem to be
operating correctly, run a wash cycle to check out the
complete system. During the wash cycle, switch the Milk/
Wash mode between Milk and Wash modes. In the Wash
mode the control tries to run the milk pump at 60 Hz as long
as the low float switch is closed.
The pump will slow down quickly when the low float switch
opens. In the Milk mode the control tries to run the milk
pump at 50 Hz when the low float switch is closed, and will
ramp up to 60 Hz only when the high float switch closes.

from the 50 Hz when the low float switch opens. If
the control is connected to a solenoid to control
water flow to a plate cooler, the solenoid should be
"OFF" when the control is in the Wash mode and the
solenoid should be "ON" when the control is in the
Milk mode, with the milk pump running.
11. Replace the existing wiring label with the wiring label
provided in the kit.
12. Mount the plastic shroud back onto the Magnetek
GPD 315.
13. Mount the access panel back onto the Magnetek
GPD 315.
14. Close and tighten the Opti-Flo II cover.
