4. WALKTEST

The walktest is meant to check all detectors still functioning correctly and covering the secured area.

Activating the walktest is done as follows:

The control panel has to be disarmed completely. Enter PIN-code followed by pressing the <8>-key.

The walktest is started right now. The display shows 'Lt'. Activate all alarm zones. If a detector is

activated, the keypadbuzzer sounds. The LED's on the keypad will stay on flashing, even if the zone

has been closed again. After finishing the walktest and when returned to the keypad, all the LED's of

the activated zones should be flashing. Stop the walktest be disarming (enter PIN-code followed by

pressing the <*>-key). Note: 24-hour zones (e.g. hold-up, sabotage, fire) are never disarmed and will

cause an alarm if activated!

5. TURNING OFF ALARMSIGNAL

If the display shows 'Al' or 'Sb' followed by a zone number, then an alarm (AL) or sabotage (Sb) of

that zone has occured. The number followed after AL or Sb indicates in which zone the alarm

occurred.

If the control panel is not disarmed, it should be done. Disarming also de-activates the outdoor and

indoor alarmindicators (siren, flashing-light). It should be examined, what causes the alarm situation.

The alarm indication on the display can be erased by disarming for the second time. The installer can

3.4 Programming 2-digit quick-arming code

Enter PIN-code (system supervisor or section

leader). Press the <7>-key. The display shows

'C2'. Enter new 2-digit quick-arming code.
