If a 24-hour zone went into alarm, all alarm indicators will be turned off by disarming, even if the

control panel is disarmed already.

6. PANIC/HOLD-UP

The installer can programm one of following possibilities to activate a panic/hold-up alarm:

by pressing both keys <*> and <#> simultaneously, a silent alarm will be transmitted

to the central station. No indoor or outdoor alarmindicators will be activated.

duress

if threatened during arming/disarming a hold-up message can be transmitted to the

central station by entering the duress-code. The duress code is the normal PIN-code

with the last digit of the PIN-code incremented by 1. So, instead of entering 4444,

4445 is the duress-code and will cause a hold-up message to be transmitted. Note: if

the last digit of the "normal" code is a 9, then a 0 has to be entered if duress code has

to be used, so if the PIN-code is 6789 then 6780 has to be entered to force the hold-

up message to be transmitted.

hold-up button if a hold-up button is implemented, a hold-up or panic alarm can be caused by

pressing this button. Depending on the installation programming an outdoor or indoor

alarmindicator can be turned on aswell. The alarm will always be visible on the

display as zone alarm.
