The authorization of the 20 free-programmable PIN-codes and of the 2-digit quick-arming code has

to be defined before programming the codes. This can be done only by the systemsupervisor. Table 1

can be used to keep track of the programmed authorization and programmed PIN-codes. The

authorization can be programmed as follows:

Enter the systemsupervisor PIN-code. Press the <4>-key. The dispay shows 'CA'. Enter the reference

number of the PIN-code (01-21). The LED's have following meaning:

LED 1

PIN-code can arm/disarm section A

LED 2

PIN-code can arm/disarm section B

LED 3

PIN-code can arm/disarm section C

LED 4

section leader for section A

LED 5

section leader for section B

LED 6

section leader for section C

LED 7

turned on: the choice can be made, which section to arm/disarm.

turned off: all sections belonging to code will be armed/disarmed toge-

ther.

user can isolate zones

The authorization of all PIN-codes can be defined this way. Note: PIN-code 21 is the 2-digit quick-

arming code. LED's 1, 2 and 3 define which sections can be armed/disarmed by the user. The quick-

arming code can arm the section(s) but not disarm. The LED's 4, 5 and 6 define if the user with this

code may programm also usercodes with the same or lower authorization. If a user may programm

codes he will be referred to as "section leader". LED 7 defines if the sections can be armed/disarmed

seperately or not. LED 8 defines if the user is able to isolate zones. If the user is not allowed to

isolate zones, he also cannot bypass zones during arming.

3.3 Programming pin-codes

Enter PIN-code (systemsupervisor or section leader). Press the <6>-key. The display shows 'Cu'.

Enter the reference number of the PIN-code to be programmed. The display will show 'C '. Enter the

new PIN-code now.

Note: to erase a PIN-code it should be re-programmed to 0000. This code is always invalid.
