In this section, we take VigorSwitch P1282 as an example:
Before using the switch, perform the following steps:
1. Set up a physical path between the configured switch and a PC using
qualified Cat UTP. 5e cable with RJ-45 connector.
If a PC connects directly to the switch, you must set the same subnet mask for the PC and the
switch. The managed switch defaults are listed below:
IP adress
Subnet mask
DHCP client
Username
Password
2. After setting the correct IP address on your PC, open your web browser and access
the IP address of the switch.
