. Remove the ferrule stub assembly
from the clamshell by grabbing
the dust cap.

Place the ferrule stub assembly
in the FX Fusion splice holder and
push it up to the position shown
below.
It is recommended to remove the

mark the desired dimensions
(17 mm and 35 mm) on the pigtail
cable.

Strip the jacket at the 17 mm
mark. At the same 17 mm
distance make another mark
on the Kevlar.
