A. OUTLINE OF PRODUCT
1. Outline
This product is a tilting binocular tube to be used in combination with a CK 40 culture microscope
for observation in the standing position.

Features
(1) Since the eye point height can be changed from 390 mm to 465 mm (observation tube tilt
angle 30" - 60") the best eye point height can be set for individual users.
(2) At an observation tube tilt angle of 60" (eye point height: 465 mm), a standing user can
observe a specimen through the microscope in a comfortable posture.
(3) At an observation tube tilt angle of 45" (eye point height: 430 mm), the same eye point as
IX can be obtained.

Using conditions
(1) A CK40-TBI can be combined a CK40 microscope only. It cannot be combined with any
other model.
(2) In some cases, an eyepiece of field number 20 causes insufficient peripheral light intensity
during 10X observation.
(3) A CK40-TBI
cannot be combined with CK40-EPA.
(4) An infinity correction tube cannot be combined with any other UIS observation tube.
(5) In some cases, a specimen of high reflectance or high contrast produces a ghost.
