TEST PROGRAM

TEST - OF: Initializing memory (EEPROM)

TEST-OF.

♦ This test initializes the EEPROM that stores the model eye count tables and offset

values by storing their system standard values. This test must always be conducted

whenever the EEPROM is replaced with a new one.

* Accidental execution of this test will overwrite all existing data with standard

values, resulting in accuracy deterioration in any subsequent measurements.

• Initializing EEPROM

Press the measurement button, and the confirmation screen will appear.

[YES] key : Press this key after setting DIP switch No. 5 on the right side of the

main body to ON to start initializing the EEPROM.

When initialization is finished, ''SET DIP SW5 TO OFF" is

displayed.

Return DIP SW No.5 to the OFF position.

[NO] key : Press this key to cancel the initialization test.

The NR - 5500 will then quit TEST - OF.
