4. Place the non 909 brand
accessory over the accessory
adaptor (9) and place in
position as required. The
accessory can be mounted
at various angles to the left or
right of centre if required.
5. Place the outer flange (10)
over the accessory adaptor
(9), lining up the 2 notches
on the outer flange (10)
with the accessory adaptor
notches.
6. Insert outer flange screw
(11), and using the 5mm
hex key, tighten the screw
in a clockwise direction until
it is finger tight. Recheck
the accessory is located
correctly and also in the required position, and then
tighten firmly with the hex key.
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE the accessory if it is not securely
in place. Check before using the tool and after tightening the
screw as this may result in the accessory moving to the left
or the right whilst the tool is in operation

Installing sandpaper

1. Install the hook & loop sanding pad onto the tool as per
the previous instructions.
2. Firmly press the sandpaper (17) onto the hook & loop pad.
Notes:
a) Place the sandpaper so the holes in the sandpaper
line up with the matching holes in the hook & loop pad.
b) Press the sandpaper firmly onto the hook & loop pad.
3. To remove the sandpaper, simply peel the sandpaper
away from the hook & loop pad.

Fitting and removing the battery pack

1. To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the two
side battery release tabs (5) on the battery pack firmly
and pull the pack from the tool.
2. To fit the battery pack into
the tool, orientate the battery
pack so the side battery
release tabs (5) of the
battery pack are on the left
and right side of the tool.
Enter the pack into the tool
aligning the ribs of the pack
with the inner ribs of the tool.
Push the battery pack all the
way into the tool handle without forcing. The side tabs will
"Click" into place preventing the pack falling out.

Battery charging

IMPORTANT.
Before attempting to charge the battery,
check the charger, the charger base and the battery
to ensure the charging equipment matches the battery
supplied. The components are all labelled with
component numbers.
IMPORTANT.
The battery will be fully charged after aprox
3-5 hours: remove it from the charger after this time.
Do not leave a battery charging for longer than 24 hours.
Note.
The battery pack will not charge if the battery cells are
hot. If the pack has been directly taken from the drill after
heavy or constant use, the cells will be hot.
Allow the cells to cool before fitting to the charger adaptor.
If a hot pack is placed on charge the charge process will be
delayed until the battery pack cools when then the charge
process will start automatically.
