Connectors

The ports on the 10/100-TX GL Module are compatible with the IEEE

802.3 10Base-T and 802.3u 100Base-TX standards and accept the 10 Mbps
or 100 Mbps cables listed below.

The ports on the 100/1000-T GL Module and the 100/1000-T Trans-
ceiver, which can be installed in the Gigabit Transceiver GL Module,
are compatible with the IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX and IEEE 802.3ab
1000Base-T standards, and accept the 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps cables listed
below. For 1000 Mbps operation, Category 5E twisted-pair cable is
recommended.
The port on the 100-FX SC Transceiver, which can be installed in the

Gigabit Transceiver GL Module, transmits at 1300 nm wavelength, and
is compatible with the IEEE 802.3u 100Base-FX standard. It accepts the
multimode fiber-optic cables for 100Base-FX described on the next page.

The port on the Gigabit-SX Transceiver, which can be installed in the
Gigabit Transceiver GL Module, transmits at 850 nm wavelength, and
is compatible with the IEEE 802.3z Gigabit-SX standard. It accepts the low
