PRIOR TO OPERATION

Power source

Ensure that the power source to be utilized conforms to the power requirements speciﬁ ed

on the product nameplate.

Power switch

Ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position. If the plug is connected to a receptacle

while the power switch is in the ON position, the power tool will start operating immediately,

which could cause a serious accident.

Extension cord

When the work area is removed from the power source, use an extension cord of suﬃ cient

thickness and rated capacity. The extension cord should be kept as short as practicable.

Check the receptacle

If the receptacle only loosely accepts the plug, the receptacle must be repaired.

Contact a licensed electrician to make appropriate repairs.

If such a faulty receptacle is used, it may cause overheating, resulting in a serious hazard.

Conﬁ rming condition of the environment

Conﬁ rm that the work site is placed under appropriate conditions conforming to prescribed

precautions.

CAUTION

To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the

switch oﬀ and disconnect the plug from the

receptacle.

Mounting the socket

(1)

Slide the ring out of the groove, and insert the socket

so that the hole in the anvil aligns with the hole in the

socket. (Fig. 1)

Pass the pin through the holes. (Fig. 2)

(3)

While making sure that the pin doesn't fall, put the ring

into the groove. (Fig. 3)
