Replace the Disk Enclosure LCCs

Upgrading a VA 7100/7400 to a VA 7410/7110
If the original VA 7400 array included DS 2400 disk enclosures, the LCCs must
be replaced with DS 2405 LCCs.

Remove both LCCs from the disk enclosure.

Install the DS 2405 LCCs in the disk enclosure.
When upgrading a VA 7400 that includes DS 2405 Disk Systems, the FC Loop
Speed switch on the disk enclosure LCCs must be set to 2GB/s. Failure to set
the switch on both LCCs in each disk enclosure will disrupt the FC loop and
cause the entire array to malfunction.
If the capacity of the array will be increased by adding additional disk
enclosures, they should be added now.
